Dr.Newman will attend the lecture on Besivance…the Emerging Therapeutic Option for the Treatment of Bacterial Conjuctivitis tonight at the Westin Hotel. Hopefully this new drug will be another tool to fight eye infections.

Dr. Newman gave a talk show again with Carol Blonder, host of the “Networking Arizona” show on 3/16/2010.  He discussed various topics one of which was the CK procedure and described who is a candidate, what the procedure entails and the fact that it’s done in a short time right in our office. During the show callers were entitled to the CK procedure for half price.

Dr. Newman was featured again on KFNX last Friday 3/12/10 where he discussed Lasik surgery, Shingles and it’s impact to the eye, and Dermatochalasis. Several people called in to ask questions and anyone that called Newman Eye Center during the show received 20% off any Lasik or cosmetic procedure.

Dr. Bruce Newman M.D. was a guest on ”Neworking Arizona” of KFNX radio on Friday March 5,2010. Some of the subjects discussed included Cataracts and the various IOL’s (Intraocular lenses) that are available and Dry Eyes and it’s impact on Lasik candidates. He also answered various questions from callers during the show while the host gave away free tickets to The Flyboys movie.
